Mom of 'Dreamy' Convicted Felon Crowdfunds for His Legal Defense - NBC News.com

This makes me terribly irate.

And although this affliction has been in existence for centuries, the whole psycho-social issues involved must finally be dragged out into the light, examined and explained to our society and women in particular, although men are certainly not immune from falling into this same trap..

The amount of letters and proposals for marriage to halfway attractive men or women who have been convicted of and confessed to murders rapes etc is an age old phenomenon very much akin to an abusive relationship and even the most educated intelligent women have fallen into it literally.

Yes, lookism might be involved to some degree but there is also a sick attraction to danger as well as a desire to save, change and help" the defendant or convict " that is another commonplace motivator or faux motivator really as it is along the lines of the Stockholm syndrome once communication begins with the prisoner or convict and the person on the "outside"  Family members steeped in denial often are facilitators and an entire host of  their own " helping" what they still see as their "innocent child"

just as we saw with Joshua komisarjevsky and so so many others who have enabled their criminally geared  child leading up to their serious criminals who ultimately murder and sexual assault of

Pope denounces Mafia, meets father of slain boy

CASSANO ALL'JONIO, Italy (AP) — Pope Francis journeyed Saturday to the heart of Italy's biggest crime syndicate, met the father of a 3-year-old boy slain in the region's drug war, and declared that all mobsters are automatically excommunicated from the Catholic Church.

During his one-day pilgrimage to the southern region of Calabria, Francis comforted the imprisoned father of Nicola Campolongo in the courtyard of a prison in the town of Castrovillari.

In January the boy was shot, along with one of his grandfathers and the grandfather's girlfriend, in an attack blamed on drug turf wars in the nearby town of Cassano all'Jonio. The attackers torched the car with all three victims inside.

The boy's father and mother already were in jail at the time on drug trafficking charges. The pope had expressed his horror following the attack and promised to visit the town.

Francis embraced the man. He asked the pope to pray for the boy's mother, who was permitted to leave prison following her son's slaying and remains under house arrest. The pope also met two of the boy's grandmothers.

A Vatican spokesman, the Rev. Ciro Benedettini, said Francis told the father: "May children never again have to suffer in this way."

"The two grandmothers were weeping like fountains," Benedettini added.

Calabria is the power base of the 'ndrangheta, a global drug trafficking syndicate that enriches itself by extorting businesses and infiltrating public works contracts in underdeveloped Calabria.

During his homily at an outdoor Mass, Francis denounced the 'ndrangheta for what he called its "adoration of evil and contempt for the common good. "

"Those who go down the evil path, as the Mafiosi do, are not in communion with God. They are excommunicated," he warned.

Francis greeted about 200 other prisoners during his visit there.

When Francis visited a hospice, a doctor there removed a bothersome wooden splinter from one of the pope's fingers at his request, organizers said.

Alaska Killer Confesses To Three More Murders

Anchorage Killer Investigation-1.jpg

This is terribly sad news and this murderous killer will hopefully be locked up for life, he deserves the death penalty, which naturally Alaska does not have. In my opinion every state that actually has it and in fact imposes it would deter a great many of especially these kinds of murders.

Now the killer is making deals to get himself to  more amenable prison- ultimately sociopathic narcissistic and classic - reminds me of Ted Bundy reeling off dozens of unsolved murders rapes and burial sites in attempts to stave off his already delayed execution. At that time they still used the electric chair rather than the much more humane lethal injection, which is akin to what most of u pray we die similarly whilst we sleep.

While his "confessions to the other murders in exchange for a prison transfer ultimately help in a terrible sanguine way insofar as the other family members now know what became of their loved ones; the murders were all brutal and senseless.

This brings us again to the truth being a necessary component for so many victims and victims family members as hideous as it often is. Many want to know every detail in order to be able to move on at all. This selfish psychopath has inadvertently enabled this but clearly for selfish reasons.

More coverage will follow on CHASING JUSTICE as the story and court continue, it will become revealed as o why this murderer got away with one charge of tampering with evidence in one of the several past homicides and released.

Way to many unanswered questions and some of these murders happened many years ago.

Please stay tuned.
