Volunteers needed to help with "Michaela's Garden" Petit Family Foundation's Annual Project

Michaela and her sister Hayley Petit

The Plainville Senior Center is helping with "Michaela’s Garden", an annual fundraiser for the Petit family Foundation and one that carries special meaning this year as the project was the brainchild of recently deceased Dennis Chapman, brother in law of William Petit Jr and husband of Joanna Chapman.

Mr Chapman, a member of the Petit Foundation's Board of directors devised the project as a way to " help keep Michaela's spirit alive." this, as she loved gardening and four o'clocks were her favorite flower.
The center is looking for volunteers who would like to help package 4 o’clock flower seeds, which will then be sold, with all the proceeds going to the Petit Family Foundation.

Volunteers are needed on Monday, April 15 and/or April 22 at 9:30 a.m. to count and package seeds.

Please Call the center at (860) 747-5728 to register for any amount of time you are able to give!
