Rape victim takes stand after 30 years

Here is a story from the n.y times about a brave woman- who, 30 years after a brutal rape that went unsolved, is now facing her attacker in court; All due to DNA databanking for violent offenders. Dna evidence was not available at the time of this crime, but... samples from the rape were properly preserved and subsequently tested against offenders from a federal dna bank, a match was made with a repeat sex offender, who is now facing this latest set of charges stemming from a rape he long ago believed he'd gotten away with.
